Product Safety Engineer

Job Description:

• Conduct product reviews w/recommendations for design modifications to meet appropriate compliance standards
• Oversee/conduct all testing and prepare agency-required reports/documentatio
• Interface w/clients and agency engineers, as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of agency standards, agency protocol and testing procedures
• Aid clients in troubleshooting/consulting for noncompliant designs
• Plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously while making every effort to meet client schedules
• Position requires the ability to be very flexible with the ability to multitask projects individually and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• BSEE or equivalent technical degree
• Minimum 2 years in product safety
• Experience with domestic and international product safety standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to sell oneself and SEL, and educate the client
